Water Reuse

Reclaimed or recycled water (also called wastewater reuse or water reclamation) is the process of converting a waste stream into water that can be reused for other purposes. In general, clarifiers, membrane bioreactors (MBR), microfiltration (MF) or ultrafiltration (UF), reverse osmosis (RO) and sludge handling systems are typically integrated to get the desired results in the treatment process.

SafBon Water Technology (SWT) provides water reuse systems for a multitude of industries using advanced water treatment technologies to meet the necessary treated water quality requirements. SWT has worked on projects utilizing water reuse to produce indirect potable, irrigation, aquifer recharge and industrial process water. A custom engineered treatment solution will be designed to meet a client’s specific treatment goal and can be configured for any size requirement.

Clarification

Conventional clarification is the removal of suspended matter in raw water by coagulation, flocculation, and sedimentation.

Physical Chemical Treatment

Physical Chemical Wastewater Treatment covers the range of treatment processes that remove a variety of impurities from influent or wastewater. Generally, this unit operation consists of pH adjustment, coagulation, flocculation and sedimentation or floatation processes.

Filtration

Filtration is any of various mechanical, physical or biological operations that separate solids from fluids (liquids or gases) by interposing a medium through which only the fluid can pass.

Reverse Osmosis

Treating filtered wastewater with reverse osmosis produces an extremely high quality permeate water that has many valuable uses. The RO system can be configured in a number of different arrangements to achieve the desired permeate water quality and concentrate can be further treated to achieve zero liquid discharge if needed.
