Our History
PAT Founders established American Engineering Services (AES) in 1986 in Los Angeles, California. Soon after AES became a major supplier of Brackish and Seawater desalination plants worldwide. AES designed manufactured and installed some of the major municipal and industrial reverse osmosis, nanofilteration and conventional treatment plants in the US.
In 2005 American Engineering Services US operation was acquired by Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction and hence Doosan Hydro Technologies (DHT) was created. Doosan retained our founder Mr. Ali Kalantar as the CEO of DHT. Under the leadership of Mr. Kalantar DHT’s unsurpassed growth in the industry and integration of new technologies in the design of the supplied plants and long list of successful global installations won the company the distinguished award of the Desalination Company of the Year by Global Water Intelligence.
In 1992 Cofounder of American Engineering Services Mr. Hany Said, founded Advanced Environmental Water Technologies (AEWT) and became a major supplier of municipal RO and Nanofilteration plants in the US.
In 2006 Biwater in the UK acquired AEWT and retained Mr. Said as its CEO until 2013 when Mr. Said and Mr. Kalantar jointly founded Pacific Aqua Technologies (PAT).
PAT successfully has established itself as a major player in the water and wastewater treatment industry. It is the vast experience of PAT founder’s and engineers and integration of new propriety technologies that have made our products very unique in the market. Our water and wastewater treatment solutions offer highest efficiency, low plant capital and operating costs to our customers.
